Recently, a significant milestone in the collaboration between JAC Motors and DHL Mexico—the delivery ceremony of the JAC Sunray—was successfully held in Mexico City. The CEO of DHL Mexico attended the event in person to officiate the handover, which was covered by several prominent local automotive media outlets.
The CEO of DHL Mexico stated at the delivery ceremony: “We have full confidence in the product quality of JAC Motors. The JAC Sunray units acquired in this procurement have successfully passed the rigorous performance and quality tests conducted nationwide by DHL, and their reliability and adaptability fully meet our operational requirements.”
The collaboration between JAC Motors and DHL commenced in 2021, with the all-electric Sunray successfully paving the way for this strategic partnership. In 2023, the two parties officially initiated testing and integration of the fuel-powered version of the JAC Sunray. In 2024, the Sunray underwent a six-month high-intensity trial operation under real-world logistics conditions across diverse road environments in Mexico, demonstrating outstanding performance that earned full recognition from the customer.
In 2025, Mexico fully upgraded its emission standards to Euro VI. Building on the solid foundation of product testing established in earlier phases, JAC Motors responded promptly by conducting in-depth, regulation-specific adaptive development for compliance with Euro VI requirements. The company not only achieved compliance within record time but also deployed a team of engineers to be stationed locally in the market. These engineers collaborated closely with customers to carry out months-long end-user trials under real-world operating conditions. Leveraging its superior product performance and a highly efficient after-sales service response system, JAC Motors successfully secured the first batch of volume orders from DHL.
This collaboration not only represents a significant breakthrough for both parties in the Mexican market, but also establishes a solid foundation for JAC Motors and DHL to build a long-term strategic partnership, thereby further enhancing JAC Motors’ brand influence and market recognition in the global commercial vehicle sector.
